AUTISM Testing & Assessment
The ADOS-2 assessment is the gold standard Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition, authored by Catherine Lord, PhD, Michael Rutter, MD, et al., and published by WPS. It is a semi-structured, standardized assessment instrument that includes a number of play-based activities designed to obtain information in the areas of communication, reciprocal social interactions, and restricted and repetitive behaviors associated with a diagnosis of ASD.

the gifted evaluation for children under 6yrs old we will use the WPPSI-IV. For Children 6yrs and above the gifted evaluation is done using the WISC-V and the WJI achievement testing. A charge for paperwork is not unusual, and is growing increasingly common as offices become more loaded with requests to do it. The charge is a flat rate based on up to 3 pages or a 45 minute review. Any time after that will be documented and charge in 15 minute increments at the provider hourly cost. This includes but is not limited to an extensive chart review and medical decision making.
